Cosmetic Laser Technician - 24 hours - 1895 + 100 enrollment fee

The Cosmetic Laser Technician (focus on laser hair removal) is designed to provide an overview of what can be expected when working with cosmetic lasers in a medical setting Students can develop an understanding of:

• working in a medical setting, associated medical terminology & medical charting, client intake and assessment, indications and contraindications.
• Fundamentals of equipment, safety and protocols for: light based hair removal.
• 4 hours of theory & practical class, 20 hours of lab time.

 

Cosmetic Laser Technician - 150 hours - 8850 + 100 enrollment fee

The Cosmetic Laser Technician (focus on laser hair removal, laser skin rejuvenation & resurfacing) is designed to provide an overview of what can be expected when working with cosmetic lasers in a medical setting. Students can develop an understanding of:

• Working in a medical setting, associated medical terminology & medical charting, client intake and assessment, indications and contraindications.
• Fundamentals of equipment, safety and protocols for: Laser Hair Removal.
• Fundamentals of equipment, safety and protocols for: FRAXEL Laser resurfacing
• Fundamentals of equipment, safety and protocols for: Laser & IPL rejuvenation
• Overview of light based hair removal, vascular, pigment treatments
• Overview of laser services such as laser lipo, cellulite, tattoo removal, other advanced technologies.
• 8 hours of theory & practical class, 142 hours of lab time

 

This is a cash pay class/workshop, and does not qualify for Financial Assistance. SEE THE PROGRAMS SECTION For programs that are Accredited by NACCAS, lead to licensure and offer financial aid for those who qualify.
